Ever since I dropped out of high school at the age of about sixteen years old and started working in factories, I learned a lot about how the big wigs think and work in corporations. The one thing that I came to realize is, that they are out of touch with their employees and customers. What do I mean? Well, for one, most big wigs have never ever in their entire life, done hard manual labor like the rest of us. If they would have, then they would appreciate their employees more. On another hand, they tend to worry more about what it is good for the company, than what their customers actually need, want and would pay for. In other words, the big wigs, really need to get their heads out of their assholes and connect with reality.
As an employee, I can say that many, many, many times, I was underappreciated. I’m not saying that I should have received the employee of the month award for just doing my job. But I can tell you, that when I was given more work and responsibilities, my paycheck stayed the same. Even after I was promised a pay raise for taking on more responsibilities, nothing changed. As a customer, I look at how so many companies are more about profits than providing good products and services. You have to understand, that I don’t get a weekly paycheck just for sitting down on my ass doing nothing, I earn my money the honest way. So for me to pay for something that sucks, it doesn’t make sense at all. Meanwhile the top executives are making a lot of money, their employees and customers are suffering. To be honest, top executives need to get out there and get to know their employees and their customers, before making stupid decisions.
