First things first my peeps! Today is Monday July 16, 2018 and it marks my 28th sober day and as always, I feel like Tony the tiger… GRRRRREAT! I just hope that wherever you are in this crazy planet of ours, you are having a good morning, good afternoon, good evening or good night. Always try to enjoy it to the fullest and don’t let nobody fuck it up for you no matter what happens.

On a having fun note! Even though I hate going to parties on Sundays, yesterday I had to attend my co-worker’s and good friend’s wedding. In other words, there are exceptions to my rule. The thing is, that my wife and I really had a lot of fun, since we were siting at the same table with many of my co-workers. Even though my wife and I didn’t drink any alcohol, we still had a lot of fun and we laughed a lot. We did get home late and I still have to go to the salt mines today, but it was all worth it. It’s funny, because my wife was already talking to me about going to Madame Tussauds New York next Sunday. I have to say, that I love her to death, not only because we have been together for thirty years, but because we love, understand and support each other. May we be together for thirty more years.

With that said! I am Audi 5000 y’all!

What up! What up! What up my peeps! Today is Monday July 9, 2018 and it marks my 21st sober day and as always, I feel like Tony the fucking tiger… GRRRRREAT! No anxiety, no depression, no hangover, no regrets… I mean nothing! I just hope that wherever you are in this crazy planet of ours, you are having a good morning, good afternoon, good evening or good night. Always try to enjoy it to the fullest and don’t let nobody fuck it up for you no matter what happens.

On a day trip note! Since I decided to try to visit a new place every Sunday, yesterday I decided to visit The New York Transit Museum in Brooklyn, New York. I’ve been wanting to visit for so fucking long, that I can’t remember how long has it been. Well, to be honest with you, I really enjoyed it to the fullest. As soon as I saw the old train cars, I felt like a little kid in a toy store. It was incredible how I was able to sit in train cars, dating back to a hundred years or more. I have to say, that I took close to three hundred pictures, but only posted 100+. The most amazing thing was, that the train ride took me one hour each way, plus the whole thing only came up to fifteen dollars and fifty cents for the admission to the museum and my train ride both ways. As to where will I be next Sunday? At a co-worker’s wedding.

First things first my peeps! Today is Sunday July 8, 2018 and it marks my 20th sober day and as always, I feel like Tony the tiger… GRRRRREAT! I just hope that wherever you are in this crazy planet of ours, you are having a good morning, good afternoon, good evening or good night. Always try to enjoy it to the fullest and don’t let nobody fuck it up for you no matter what happens.

On a family get together note! Yesterday I drove to Perth Amboy, New Jersey with my wife, daughter and mother in law, for a family BBQ, welcoming my wife’s aunt’s husband to the U.S. for the first time. I did enjoyed it after a while, but I have to admit, that at first, I was in a really shitty mood, because I had people drinking alcohol all around me and I couldn’t drink. But then I realize, that since I’m early in my sobriety, it will be better for me to stay away from people and places. I mean, don’t get me wrong, I wasn’t even planing on drinking, even after I was offered beer and hard liquor many times, I wasn’t even close to touching the thing. I guess I can say, that I learned a hard lesson early in my sobriety… to keep away from them drinking mother fuckers! Something good did come out of the trip, because I got to eat a lot and I talked with people who I haven’t seen in a while. So it wasn’t a waste of time after all.

First things first my peeps! Today is Thursday July 5, 2018 and it marks my 17th sober day and as always, I feel like Tony the tiger… GRRRRREAT! No anxiety, no depression, no regrets or hangover from drinking the day before. I just hope that wherever you are in this crazy planet of ours, you are having a good morning, good afternoon, good evening or good night. Always try to enjoy it to the fullest and don’t let nobody fuck it up for you no matter what happens.

On a sober independence day celebration note! Yesterday I was celebrating my first sober independence day in three years with family and friends from my block, with a BBQ in The Highbridge Park across the street from my home. I have to say, that even though I didn’t drink, there were people all around me, who were drinking like crazy. There was even one friend of mine who doesn’t know what I’m going through with my sobriety right now, who offered me some alcohol. As you might expect, I said no. My excuse? I had to work the next day. I did have some cravings early in the day, but that was that. The reality of it all is, that no matter how many times I’m offered alcohol, I have to be strong and I have to say NO! The thing is, that I can’t have any type of relationship with alcohol. As long as I don’t drink the first beer, I’ll be OK.

First things first my peeps! Today is Monday July 2, 2018 and it marks my 14th sober day and as always, I feel like Tony the tiger… GRRRRREAT! I just hope that wherever you are in this crazy planet of ours, you are having a good morning, good afternoon, good evening or good night. Always try to enjoy it to the fullest and don’t let nobody fuck it up for you no matter what happens.

On a traveling note! Since I’m trying to stay sober and I know that in order to do that, I have to keep my mind busy, so I decided to name my weekend travel with a similar name of one my favorite Sunday morning TV show “Toni On! New York”, so I named them “Tony At!.” I decided that since my wife and kids don’t enjoy the same things that I do, I will try to visit a different place every weekend on my own… just like my shrink suggested a while back. On my first Sunday, I decided to visit The Dyckman Farmhouse Museum, all that I had to do was take a taxi there, since it is near my home, then the train back home. Since admission to the museum is donation based, I made a ten dollars donation to the farmhouse. The Dutch Colonial style farmhouse was built on this site by c. 1784 and opened as a museum in 1916. To be honest with you, I really enjoyed it and it was like taking a trip back in time. From now on, I will try my best to get out of the apartment more often. I really will.
